LA PAZ -- Members of the Partido Obrero Revolucionario, Bolivian section of the Fourth International, made an impressive showing in recent trade-union elections in Bolivia. At Oruro, a leader of the POR was elected secretary of the miners’ union and representative for workers’ control. At La Paz, in an election amonr factory workers, the POR candidate, Comrade Camacho, was defeated by only a few votes: The official left MNR candidate polled 4,100 votes; Camacho 4,070.
