JAPANESE ELECTION RESULTS

PARIS, Nov, 25 -- The press here reports the official results of the November al election in Japan as follows: Liberal Democrats, 283 seats; Socialists, 144; Democratic Socialists, 23; Communists, 53 independents, 12.

It is expected that some of the independents will declare for either the Liberal Democrats or the Socialists,

TheĀ» electoral participation, 71 per cent, is considered relatively light for Japan.
