ECONOMIC CRISIS IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA
At the January meeting of the Central Committee of the Czecho= slovak Communist party, the main question was the catastrophic results in the industrial field in 1963, In fact, the reporter, Drahomin Kolder, secretary of the Central Committee, had to admit see Rude Pravo. January 23] that industrial production decreased 0.7% in relation to the figures for 1962; labor productivity stood at 1.5% below the 1962 level; while in the building industry, labor productivity actually decreased 9.5%. The 1963 plan had to be dras~ tically revised after the first. quarter,

Although Kolder didn't say so, it appears that the seven-year plan for 1964-70 has been abandoned, The bureaucracy will try to bring.out a new five-year plan for 1966-70, if everything works out as hoped for 1964 and 1965, .
