COMPLAINS AT "EXPENSE" OF ANTIWAR DEMONSTRATION

The Pentagon announced October 26 that it had spent $1 million for military operations to "protect" the army brass during the massive antiwar demonstration in Washington October 21-22. At $500,000 a day it is still considerably cheaper than the $82,000,000 spent every day in the year for U.S. aggression in Vietnam.
