MANDEL TOURS MEXICO Mexican CP intervened in the discussion. On September 18 more than 1,200 people packed a meeting hall in Mexico City, where the GCI had organized a debate on the balance-sheet of the Chilean revolution and counterrevolution. Comrades from the Chilean SP and the MIR participated in the ensuing discussion. On September 19 some 2,500 people attended a meeting on the Portuguese revolution. It was held at the University of Mexico. We demand that the government take all necessary mesures to stop the attacks of rightist terrorists. We demand the release of all political prisoners, especially those imprisoned by virtue of the state of siege. We demand that those responsible for the murders perpetrated against the members of the PST and other revolutionary and trade-union militants be brought to justice.
